So I came up with an idea for this a few weeks back, while in a training at one of my suppliers. At trade shows people will attach a sanded-plexiglass rod or similar to the output of whatever light source they are showing. This allows potential customers to see the speed/brightness, without risking laser radiation damage. I figured it sure would be nice to have one of these, attached to an FC connector, for use when aligning laser launches, or when doing test/development work.
