Another excellent STORM image from the course:    

We’ve been acquiring absolutely stunning data from the STORM rig at the course. Here’s an example! This is a 3-D image. The Gaussian spots indicate molecules which were detected.

Studens and faculty alike have been working long hours at the inaugural UCSF microscopy course. Yesterday’s training covered ray theory to fluorescent imaging, and the students were running the last lab until about 8:45pm!
