Here is a video I shot last month of a Prior Slide loader being coupled with a 90i microscope from Nikon. Normally the #1 issue with loaders is that they aren’t mechanically stable when coupled to the scope, causing constant adjustments to be made to the motor positions. The prior system reduces this a lot by using a single large and heavy plate to mount both the scope and the loader. A similar thing could be accomplished using a standard 1/4″ x 20 air table top, but many people don’t seem to keep this in mind when using loaders!
