ASCB Roundup – Andor Clara, Revolution Confocals

Andor had it’s new ICX-285-based Clara camera and revolution DSD Confocal on display. Key features of the Clara camera are:

  • 1Mhz readout mode for very low read noise imaging
  • Deep cooling capability at -45c
  • Simple USB interface

The Revolution DSD confocal is a new white light system that uses a transmission and reflection pattern to produce a confocal image. Andor has a webinar available on the DSD here.
