ASCB Roundup – Sutter Lambda XL

Stopped by the sutter booth to check out the XL. It’s been out for a while but it’s always good to see.  They had it running in a filter wheel loop for the duration of the show.

Key features of this system are:

  • 10,000 hr bulb lifetime
  • intensity stable
  • better stability over bulb life
  • integration with filter wheel and shutters
